Amsterdam Music Festival  (2018)

Commissioned to develop a map for Amsterdam Music Festival, the challenge was to balance a club sensibility with conveying accurate information to an audience that needs to find the locations of venues around Amsterdam.

The idea was to indicate roughly where the venues are around the canals, rather than an exact true-to-life location. This map serves as a first step for partygoers who can quickly see an overview of  where they can go during the festival. The map, although basic, has been traced from an accurate source, and contains all the relevant information to get started with festival activities.

The Re-queering of the Dancefloor (2019)

Commissioned to partner an illustration for an article written by Jake Indiana on the rise and importance of queerness in club culture.

The 2010s saw the LGBT+ community stage a reclamation – and reconfiguration – of club culture. The result? Some of the most innovative music of the decade
